Hydrogen is the buzz-word of the clean energy sector right now. Right now, at the beginning of the journey Africa could carve out any role in this burgeoning market – supplier of raw material, end user or creator/exporter/innovator.
What, though are the key steps Africa must take to prepare to play a critical role in the global hydrogen value chain? And, more importantly, what can and must we do, to proactively write our own role rather than have it imposed on us?
